On July 29th, 2020 Children’s Health Defense, a children’s health advocacy group lead by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. filed a landmark principal brief in the US Court of Appeals against the FCC.
The lawsuit was originally filed on February 3rd, 2020 against the FCC. On December 4th, 2019, the FCC closed the docket 18-84 initially opened for the public to comment on reexamining their 1996 guidelines. Since the docket is closed, it provided the opportunity for lawsuits against the FCC under the Administrative Procedure Act (APA). Leading the case to stop 5G and reduce wireless harm to our children are Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Chairman of Children’s Health Defense (CHD); Scott W. McCollough, Attorney for IRREGULATOR’S and Dafna Tachover, CHD’s Director of Stop 5G & Wireless Harms.
Thousands of studies have provided enough evidence of adverse health impacts because of the EMF radiation. A 9-year study, performed In Bamberg and Hallstadt, Germany, coupled with photographic, and observational data, measured electromagnetic radiation supported that EMF radiation caused ‘high-level damage’ to trees near cell towers. Cornelia Waldmann-Selsam, the study’s co-author, stated, “This constitutes a danger for trees worldwide.” “These results are consistent with the fact that damage inflicted on trees by cellphone towers usually start on one side, extending to the whole tree over time.” 5G alone has recorded caused many health issues in humans like damage to our DNA, cancer, affecting the reproductive system, memory loss, etc.
The concern over 5G has pushed society to take matters into their own hands; protests, social media outlets, and Facebook groups have been created to oppose the installation of 5G towers in their neighborhoods. Sickness among children and adults will continue to rise, especially because of the population of wireless devices and networks being used and deployed. Several petitioners involved in the lawsuit against the FCC are the parents of children injured by wireless devices, like the mother whose son died of a brain tumor due to cell tower exposure, and renowned scientist Professor David Carpenter.
Robert F. Kennedy was also involved in groundbreaking lawsuits including the successful cases against Monsanto.
